Photography is, for me, about the quest to capture the beauty in the everyday, the ordinary, the mundane and the everything. In each image that I make, I look for the uniqueness that will provoke a different feeling and experience to each and everyone.
At a very early age, from the time that I was able to hold a pencil, I was creating art. Despite a desire to share my art with all, I would not part with my work unless it was a commissioned special project. Great sums of money were offered for my Fine Art, however I would have rather given it away then put a price on it.
At eighteen years of age, I discovered my passion for photography and would capture my images with a camera. I then turned ordinary photographs into works of art by painting my images on canvas. It has been said that I have “The Eyes of a Poet”. Photography has offered me an outlet in which to share my work with others.
